Centenary College Internship Program

General Information

Students applying for a credited internship must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have completed 40 credits. 

The student is required to work a minimum of 133 hours to complete a 4-credit internship. Scheduling of these hours is arranged to meet both the needs of the employer and the classroom schedule of the student.

Internships are designed to be a valuable learning experience for Centenary College students. Interns can be of great benefit to an organization, but the employer should have resources in place to train and develop the interns before establishing an internship program.

 Internships may be paid or unpaid*, but academic credit can be granted in either case. 

*All employers are encouraged to read and comply with the U.S. Department of Labor's 6 Criteria for Unpaid Interns.
