CAPS Vision Statement for Adult Education

We at Centenary College believe that all adults have the right to a quality education, regardless of their prior life choices.  We also respect that adult learners return to college with different goals, learning styles, and personal experiences.  Choosing to treat each adult learner as unique, we build on his or her personal and professional accomplishments and provide a support system to meet the academic goals, individual commitments, and financial needs of every adult that enters our program.  We encourage adult students to become intentional learners.  By assisting students to articulate their personal goals and by addressing their learning needs, we create an environment where students can meet the highest standards of performance.
