English as a Second Language (ESL)
The goal of Centenary College's Center for Adult and Professional Programs - English as a Second Language Program is to help the adult community communicate well in written and spoken English.
All participants will use the English language in a variety of situation, work with others in a team environment, and learn about cultural similarities and diversity between countries of origin and the United States.
Who Should attend?
Any adult who wishes to learn or improve his or her English language communication skills.
What do we offer?
English language skills classes focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
What can you expect?
- Individual assessment of skills upon enrolling.
- Learning at your own pace.
- Computer-based and classroom instruction.
- Use your computer or one in our computer lab.
- Team and individual assignments.
- Build a solid base of skills for eduation and employment.
How long is the program?
Average program study time is ten weeks.

Cost of program depends on individual needs and length of study.
