2010-11 (Junior): Finished season with a 22-5 record…went 13-3 in tournament action and 9-2 in duals action…also recorded six victories by fall, three technical falls and one major decision…placed third at the Ithaca Invitational on Nov. 7…second in the Doug Parker Invitational on Nov. 20…second at the Bob Quade Invitational on Dec. 5…ranked as high as fourth in the conference at 157-pounds throughout the season…named NWCA Academic All-American.

2009-10 (Sophomore): Did not compete.

2008-09 (Freshman): Named second alternate to NCAA Championships…finished with season record of 24-8…led team in victories…took fifth at the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational on Nov. 9…placed fourth at the Springfield College Invitational on Nov. 22…finished third at Metropolitan Championships on Feb. 22…named Centenary’s Male Rookie of the Year.

High School and Personal Data: Member of the varsity team all four years at Hackettstown High School…finished his senior season with record of 43-3…was ranked No. 3 in the state for his weight class…majoring in Criminal Justice…has two brothers, Trevor and Cory…son of Carol and Ricky Vernon…born on Sept. 26, 1990. “I came to Centenary for the many opportunities it offered me.”
