Jennifer Vail (Senior (5th), MB/MH, 5-8, New Providence, NJ/New Providence)

2006 (Senior): Led the team in service aces with 50 and digs with 223… she also totaled 14 blocks for the season which is only two blocks shy of the team leader who had 16… played in 75 games for the Cyclones and had 77 kills and 350 total attacks

2005 (Junior):
Played in 56 games for the Cyclones, contributed to team defense… 14 Kills… six assists … two aces … 22 Digs…

2004 (Sophomore):
Only participated in two games due to injury… had four aces and one dig

Did not play volleyball

Jennie Noto (Junior, MB/MH, 5-9, Colonia, NJ/Mother Seton RHS

2006 Sophomore: Played in 50 games for the Lady Cyclones… recorded 77 kills and 321 total attacks, 15 aces and 95 digs for the season… her game high came in a match against Maritime College where she tallied 12 kills and four aces.

2005 Freshman:
Recorded 11 Aces and played 41 games for the Cyclones…Game high came against Maritime when she recorded five kills, six aces, and three digs.

Played four years varsity, starting three as an outside hitter…named teams Most Improved Player in 2001…majoring in equine studies… ran 200 meter for track for two years… has a brother, Matthew who is 16 and a sister, Stephanie, who is 11…

Dorothy Gasker (Junior, OH, 5-7, Jim Thorpe, PA/Jim Thorpe)

2006 Sophomore: In her 72 games she totaled 79 kills, 364 attacks and 14 aces… defensively she was able to pick up 189 digs… she had a season high of seven kills in two games, one against St. Joseph’s Long Island and the other against Old Westbury

2005 Freshman:
Did not play volleyball

High School and Personal Data:
Two year captain of her high school volleyball team… started two years out of the four she played… earned two varsity letters in track and field for the long jump and the triple jump… majoring is fashion design… has one sister Daphne who is 21… daughter of David and Donna Gasker… Born December 8th 1986  

Jamie Herold (Senior, MB/MH/OP, 5-6, Clinton/North Hunterdon)

2006 Junior: Recorded 45 kills and had 163 total attacks… added ten aces and 76 digs to her team’s totals… on the defensive she helped the team with nine blocks, which ranks third on the team.   

2005 Sophomore:
Had a total of 44 kills over the season… was able to put down 12 aces and defensively she blocked 23 kill attempts

2004 Freshman:
One of only two players to play in all 87 games… recorded 71 total kills, so far her best collegiate season… 21 aces…defensively she helped out with 72 digs… and 42 blocks

Earned one varsity letter for her three years of volleyball in high school… was a forward on her basketball team for three years, playing varsity for one… majoring in sociology and business… has one sister, Caitlin who is attending Raritan Valley Community College and one brother Michael, who is 16 and attends North Hunterdon High School… daughter of Charles and Debra Herold… Born January 8th 1986

Jolyn Veres (Junior, SET, 5-2, Denville, NJ/Morris Knolls)

2006 Sophomore: Hunter College Invitational All-Tournament Team Member… Named as a USAA Academic All-American… Earned team’s Cyclone Award (MVP)… only player to played in all of the Lady Cyclones 81 games… she tallied 21 kills out of 202 total attacks in the season while leading the team with 411 assists which is an average of 5 per game… recorded 43 service aces and 157 digs

2005 Freshman:
Named Centenary female Rookie of the Year, Recorded 302 Assists, 57 Aces, and 117 Digs in 84 games for the Cyclones

Played as a setter for her varsity team for two years… she earned a total of five other varsity letters, four for softball and one for her participation in soccer… Jolyn also starts at shortstop for the Centenary softball team… major is Secondary Education… has four siblings, two of which are married… brothers Joseph and Greg and sisters Becky and Jerusha… Daughter of Joseph and Leslie Veres…Born March 3rd 1987

2006 Senior: Did not play volleyball

2005 Junior:
Named to the Skyline Honor Roll for the week of October 31st as well as Cyclone of the Week for the same week… was second on the team in kills with 127… added 19 assists and recorded 26 aces… defensively she posted 187 digs and helped out with seven blocks

2004 Sophomore:
Earned a position on the All Skyline Conference Second Team as well as second team All-Conference WIAC honors…two time Skyline Honor Roll recipient… Cyclone Player of the Week for the week of November 11th… team leader in four different categories, kills, kills per game aces and digs… tallied 181 kills for a kills per game average of 2.64… served 54 total aces and helped the team with 86 assists and 206 digs

2003 Freshman:
Named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Year as well as Centenary’s female Rookie of the Year…elected to the Skyline All Conference Second Team…two time recipient of Skyline Rookie of the Week honors...WIAC All Conference Second Team member was well as WIAC Rookie of the Year… recorded 160 kills and had 562 total attacks… second on the team in kills and also in assists with 214… was the team leader in aces with 38 and digs with 264

Four year varsity player as well as a three year captain… named as team MVP junior and senior year… State Champion in 2003 and state runner-up in 2002… honored with the Best Female Athlete Award and elected to the All-State Team in her senior year… majoring in business marketing… daughter of Dwayne and Patricia Boyer… born May 5th 1985

Cara Gibson (Freshman, OH, 5-7, Oxford, NJ/Warren Hills)

High School:   Four year varsity letter winner in volleyball ……named co-offensive Player of the Year in 2006……High School team finished second in Conference Championships…..varsity letter winner in softball as a senior.

Jennifer Curtis (Junior, OH/MB, 5-9, Bayonne, NJ/Holy Family)

2006 (Sophomore): Named as a USAA Academic All-American…led the team in blocks with 16 and was second on the team in digs with a total of 209… tallied 87 kills in her 68 games… recorded 488 total attacks and posted 17 aces.

High School:  Four-year Varsity letter winner in volleyball, was named a Schuykill County Honorable Mention All-Star…..also was a Varsity letter winner in Softball her senior season.

2006 Senior: Missed the season due to a knee injury

Played in 78 of the teams 87 games… recorded a total of 114 kills out of 391 total attacks… added 17 aces and 118 digs to the teams totals 

2004 Sophomore:
Named to the Skyline/NJAC Challenge All-Tournament Team… Cyclone Player of the Week for the week of September 6th… one of only two players to participate in all 87 games… she tallied 127 kills, good enough for third highest on the team…  she was also third on the team in aces with 45… she also added 168 digs in the season
2003 Freshman: Played in all 77 games… third on the team in service aces with 34… added 81 kills to the Lady Cyclones totals… helped on defense with 172 digs and nine blocks
