2011 (Senior): All-CSAC Honorable Mention…played and started in 30 games…batted .264 (23-for-87) with 18 runs, seven doubles, one triple, three home runs and 13 RBI…the only Cyclone to hit for the cycle on the year…his three home runs were the first of his career…walked 12 times and stole eight bases in as many attempts…posted a .953 fielding percentage with 56 putouts and five assists…set career-highs in doubles and assists…named to CSAC Weekly Honor Roll and received Cyclone of the Week honors on April 18…finished career ranked second in program history with 13 triples, fourth in games played (131), fifth in steals (29), seventh in doubles (19) and ninth in runs (67).

2010 (Junior): Played in 35 games, with 21 starts…recorded 15 hits, eight runs, four doubles, two triples and 11 RBI…walked five times…stole four bases in six attempts…recorded a fielding percentage of .964 on 50 putouts, three assists and two errors…in Centenary’s all-time stats, ranks second with 12 triples.

2009 (Sophomore): Played in all 36 games, starting 34…only Cyclone to appear in all 36 contests…hit .307 (35-for-114) with 26 runs and 15 RBI…led CSAC and ranked 18th in the nation with seven triples…was 23rd in the country in triples per game…also hit five doubles and slugged .474…recorded 54 total bases, second on the team…walked 12 times…stole 13 bases in 16 attempts…finished with 85 putouts and three assists for a fielding percentage of .978…named to CSAC Honor Roll twice, on March 16 and April 20.

2008 (Freshman): Played in 27 games, starting 23…batted .250 (18-for-72)…hit three triples, second-best on the team…also recorded three doubles and scored 15 runs…tallied 27 total bases and 13 RBI…walked 11 times…tallied an on-base percentage of .353…stole four bases on six attempts…recorded 37 putouts and four assists…recorded only two errors all season…finished with a fielding percentage of .953.

High School and Personal Data: Played four years of baseball at Notre Dame High School in West Haven, Conn.…spent two seasons as a starter on the varsity squad…team captain his senior campaign…majoring in Accounting…son of Denise Giglio and Ronal Penna…born on Dec. 20, 1989.
