Centenary's Danielle Arndt (South Plainfield / South Plainfield) did her best to keep the Lady Cyclones in the lead over the early going. Arndt connected on her first five attempts, four of them from behind the arc, to hold the Centenary women in front 16-15 through the opening six minutes. The visiting Lady Rams took the lead 21-19, on the games sixth lead change of the half, when Melissa Harry scored on an assist from Dankery Perez (New York, NY/Manhattan Center) with 11:51 remaining on the clock. The Lady Rams took a 52-42 advantage to halftime, despite the efforts of CC's Arndt who finished the half with 20 points (5-for-8 from the three-point range). The under-sized Lady Cyclones' effort did not falter however, as they cut the deficit to single digits twice in the second half. The latest was at the 15:22 mark, when Ayana Way (Edison / John P. Stevens) connected on a jumper to pull the home team to within 62-53.
