Globalization has many definitions. For sociologists, globalization is a series of processes leading to the creation of a global society. These processes are many and include such disciplines as economics, culture, religion, and ideology. Grants development pertains to the creation of a grant proposal. A grant is an award of financial assistance from a federal, state, corporation, or private agency given to a recipient (usually a non-profit entity, educational institution, or individual) to carry out a public purpose of support or stimulation authorized by a law of the United States. Grants are not assistance or loans, but monies given as the result of submitting a written proposal and being approved for the award.
