Founded in 1867, Centenary College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Centenary is also accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE). The IACBE accredits business degree programs in colleges and universities through the United States and internationally.
Centenary College is a member of the Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL). CAEL is a national non-profit organization which creates and manages effective learning strategies for working adults.
School of Professional Studies - Our History:
1999 - Centenary develops the Center for Adult and Professional Studies (CAPS) and a new adult learning center in Parsippany, NJ.
2002 - Centenary adds a second adult learning center in Islin, NJ.
2011 - Centenary expands services by renaming the program to the School of Professional Studies and relocates the Islin learning center to Edison, NJ.
2012 - Centenary adds a new accelerated Bachelor of Arts in Sociology degree and expands corporate learning partnerships.
