Biography

In the future, I hope to become a high school math teacher at a local high school, where I will coach basketball as well. I wish to earn my special ed certification and graduate from Centenary with high honors. Being a Presidential Scholar has blessed me with numerous opportunities that I otherwise would not have been given. It has also enabled me to form close relationships with my fellow scholars, professors and faculty members. I am very excited to see what the next four years have in store for us. Here at Centenary College, I enjoy the small town feel of the campus. I  feel I benefit from small class sizes as it allows me to have a better relationship with my professors. I also enjoy playing for the Women’s Basketball team and spending time with the new friendships I have formed.

About Me

My favorite quote is “Good, better, best. Never let it rest, until your good is better and your better is best” by Tim Duncan. This quote has always motivated me to constantly improve myself not only in basketball, but also in all aspects of my life. I enjoy riding horses, spending time with my friends and family, and reading. Reading is a form of relaxation for me during times of stress. Spending time with my friends and family is also extremely important to me as I don’t know what I would do without them.
