The Disability Services Office is committed to providing a full range of auxiliary aids and support services to eligible members of the campus committee. Support services and auxiliary aids are provided to assist the College in ensuring accessibility for students with disabilities.
Support services include:
- Priority Registration
- Disability issues counseling and advising
- Advocacy
- Provision of alternative or electronic text
- Sign Language Interpreters or Closed Captioning
- Notetakers
- Readers and/or Scribes for exams
- Special topic Seminars
- Support Groups
- Training in the use of Adaptive Technology
Auxiliary Aids can include:
- Tape recorders
- Adaptive Software Programs
- Alternative Texts
- TTD devices
- Talking Calculators
- Spellcheckers
- Enlarged classroom materials
Any other service or aid that will assist in creating accessibility for an eligible student with a disability may also be provided on specific request.
