Delta Alpha Pi Society

The Delta Alpha Pi Honor Society (DAP) was founded in 2004 at East Stroudsburg University in Pennsylvania. Centenary College is the Theta Chapter of DAP and proudly recognizes the academic achievements of students with disabilities. The three Greek letters stand for disability, achievement and pride. In order to be inducted into DAP, undergraduate students must complete a minimum of 24 credits (at Centenary College) and attain a cumulative GPA of 3.1.  Graduate students must complete a minimum of 18 credits and earn a cumulative GPA of 3.3. On February 8, 2010, the Theta Chapter held its Fourth Annual Induction Ceremony in which 14 students were inducted.  There are currently 30 active members.

Delta Alpha Pi is committed to raising awareness regarding disabilities and facilitating the development of leadership and self-advocacy skills. A mentoring program is sponsored by DAP members to help students with disabilities transition to the college environment.
