Campus Crime Log

Daily Crime Log

The Centenary College Security Department maintains a daily log that records, by the date the incident was reported to us, all crimes and other serious incidents that occur on campus.

The Daily Crime Log includes:

  • The date, description and location of each crime reported to us.
  • The disposition of that complaint as it becomes known.

Please note that the Daily Log does not always list crimes and complaints that happened on property other than that owned or controlled by the College.

  • Crimes and incidents in houses leased by individual persons generally will not be noted in the Log.  Please do not believe a particular house to be "safe" because of this lack.
  • The College reminds you that particularly the theft of lap-top computers is undercounted on the Daily Log because many of them are reported directly to the Hackettstown Police Department. Those stolen computers are, however, listed as "burglary-public property" in the annual statistical report.
