Centenary College Accreditation

Centenary College of New Jersey is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104. (276-284-5000).

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.

Centenary College is also accredited by the National Association of State Directors for Teacher Education and Certification.

We enjoy pre-accreditation status from the Teacher Education Accreditation Council (TEAC), full accredidation from the Council on Social Work (CSWE), and Specialized Accreditation by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE).

The accrediting process is intended to strengthen and sustain the quality and integrity of higher education, making it worthy of public confidence. The extent to which each educational institution accepts and fulfills the responsibilities inherent in this process is a measure of its concern for freedom and quality in higher education and of its commitment to strive for and achieve excellence in its endeavors.
