What Is Moodle?

The virtual learning environment that is replacing Blackboard beginning with the Fall 2011 semester. Moodle provides instructors and students with an online repository for sharing resources, holding discussion forums, engaging in educational activities, and building collaborative learning tools both in and out of the classroom.

Technical Requirements

Even though you can access Moodle via any browser, we highly recommend using Firefox.

Software

The following software programs are needed.  If you do not have them download links are provided.  They are free of charge.
