The Alumni scholarship is awarded to children or grandchildren of Centenary College Alumni. Please contact your Admissions Counselor if you think that you are eligible for this award.

Family Plan

The Family Plan is awarded when one or more family members is enrolled concurrently at Centenary College. Please contact your Admissions Counselor if you think that you are eligible for this award.

Cyclone Award

Awarded to entering students, the Cyclone Award is awarded to students who demonstrate academic promise at Centenary College. Up to $8,000 can be awarded. The scholarship requires that students maintain continuous full time enrollment and at least a 2.00 cumulative GPA.

Centenary College NJ STARS II Scholarship

The Centenary College NJ STARS II Scholarship is Centenary’s commitment to our NJ STARS II students. Centenary College will match the state scholarship for all NJ STARS II students.

Centenary College Yellow Ribbon Scholarship

Centenary is a participant of the Post 9/11 GI Bill’s (chapter 33) Yellow Ribbon Program. Veterans who qualify for 100% of Chapter 33 may be eligible for free tuition at Centenary College. Under the new GI Bill, Veteran students may also receive a book and supply stipend, and a monthly housing allowance.

Centenary College Award

The Centenary Award is awarded to students who demonstrate academic promise and commitment to Centenary College.

United Methodist Award 

The United Methodist Award is awarded to students who are confirmed Methodist and demonstrates academic promise and commitment to Centenary College.

Annual Scholarships

Delta Kappa Gamma Society Scholarship

The Delta Kappa Gamma Society Scholarship is provided by the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, Epsilon Chapter and will be awarded for the fall semester to a first semester sophomore who shows evidence of a potential for distinctive service in any field of education. The scholarship recipient will be an education major with at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA with a preference for a woman from New Jersey.

Tour Guide Stipend

This stipend is awarded to students who are an active Tour Guide. For more information about the Tour Guide program, please contact Emily Walker at walkere02@centenarycollege.edu.

Phi Theta Kappa

Awarded to entering students, up to $12,000 may be awarded to entering transfer students with a 3.5 cumulative GPA. To be eligible, the student must have at least 32 credits remaining toward graduation and must be a member of Phi Theta Kappa. The scholarship requires that students maintain continuous full time enrollment and at least a 2.00 cumulative GPA.

Transfer Award

Between $3,000 and $10,000 may be awarded to entering transfer students who have a cumulative 2.5 GPA. To be eligible, the student must have at least 32 credits remaining toward graduation.

Community Citizenship Grant

Up to $5,000 can be awarded to applicants showing financial need and who reside on campus.

Out-of-State Centenary Grant

Up to $4,000 can be awarded to applicants showing financial need and who are non-New Jersey residents. 

Skylands Centenary Grant

Up to $4,000 can be awarded to applicants showing financial need and who reside in Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset, Sussex or Warren Counties.
