Description  77 WABC Radio – Account Executive

We are currently seeking a highly-motivated recent college graduate to fill an Account Executive position with 77 WABC.
Experience is not necessary. We are currently not seeking individuals who want to work diligently behind a desk while receiving a
predictable 2% increase in salary year after year.

Our Sales Team targets companies on a daily basis with a highly focused mission to introduce these prospective clients to the
power of radio. The team doesn’t wait for the phone to ring. We generate our own success by picking up the phone and calling
prospects. Current successful 77 WABC Account Executives follow this six-step cycle to drive revenue:

1. Find new prospects to cold-call

2. Set an appointment with the decision maker

3. Meet with the prospective client

4. Create a customized sales proposal based on the information uncovered in meeting

5. Close client

6. Resell client

Qualified candidates are self-motivated, eager to win, and overcome challenges. Your self-motivation is directly proportional to
your limitless income potential!

Responsibilities include: prospecting/cold calling, setting appointments with prospects, creative client presentations, and
hitting/exceeding your budget. In addition, maintaining and updating the performance measuring tools implemented by Cumulus
Media, which owns and operates 77 WABC.

Prospecting/cold calling on a daily basis

Outgoing, self-motivated, resourceful, organized, with entrepreneurial spirit and drive to be the best

Capable of initiating and cultivating long-term business relationships

Superb written and verbal communication skills

Setting appointments with prospects

Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet/Intranet)

Developing creative client presentations and marketing plans

Appreciation for process, performance measurement and a results-oriented sales approach

Increase client base
