Salary  12.00 per hour
Description  A private golf course located near West Morris Central High School in Long Valley, N.J.. The golf course is located about twenty
minutes from the Centenary Hackettstown Campus. Black Oak Golf Club is looking for bartenders, servers, chef staff, and golf-
related operations staff. While two full-time bartenders are needed, part time positions are also available. We have a large amount
of events such as golf outings and member events that occur at least once a week between the middle of April until the end of
October of 2014 that will acquire additional staffing as needed. This job is currently seasonal, but in the future may become year-
round. The hours needed are between 10 and 9 at night, generally Tuesday through Sunday. Mondays are usually reserved for golf
outings, and the hours required on those days can vary from 7:00 A.M. start to 10:00 P.M. end. Most days will be split into two
shifts, one in the morning from about 10:00 A.M. until about 3:00 P.M. and one shift in the evening from about 3:00 P.M. until
around 9:00 P.M.. In regards to the food and beverage position, the employee will be required to not only bartend, but also to wait
on tables, serve food, and make drinks. Any availability for part time hours are desired immediately, from either fill-in
employment for events, to a few days a week.
Excellent customer service, eye contact, friendly personality, knowledgeable, timely, well dressed, and well spoken. While an
actual bartending license is NOT required for a bartending position, knowledge of the restaurant business is required. Prior
experience in the serving/waiting staff in a restaurant in the past is preferred. A TIPS certification is required. However, this
certification is not needed before applying. The TIPS certification class will be completed during training, but failure to do so
will prevent employment.
