Title  New Jersey Client Services Fellowship

Position Description:

The Client Services Fellow is an invaluable member of the Client Services team in New Jersey. The Fellow will work alongside staff
to provide assistance to the survivors of human trafficking that we serve at our office. The main focus of the Fellowship will
include overseeing the Drop-in Center, providing case management support, and assisting with programmatic and administrative
tasks.

The Fellowship is a full-time position operating on an alternative work schedule on Tuesday through Saturday.

Responsibilities:

As a vital member of the New Jersey team, the fellow responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Accompanying clients to appointments and providing transportation assistance;
Assisting clients with employment, housing, education and translation;
Providing support in developing and facilitating client enrichment programs;
Maintaining and updating the resource database;
Soliciting in-kind donations for survivor necessities such as clothes and toiletries;
Coordinating client and volunteer appointments; and
Acting as a first responder to conflicts that may arise in the Drop-in Center.


Required Qualifications:

Strong conflict-resolution and problem- solving skills;
Extremely reliable, and organized;
Ability to follow directions with attention to detail; self-starter;
Thrives under minimal supervision, but works well in a team-driven atmopshere;
Excellent verbal communication and writing skills;
Non-judgmental, and is able to connect with a large range of populations and personalities;
Exhibits ease in unexpected situations and maintains focus in an unpredictable environment; and
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with diverse and/or disadvantaged populations, at-risk youth, or survivors of violence/trauma, such as domestic
violence or sexual assault;
Educational background in social work;
Flexible schedule including availability on some evenings/weekend;
Experience working with foreign national populations; and
Proficiency in Spanish.
