Position Information

Title  RESIDENTIAL COUNSELOR
Description  A Residential Counselor is a direct care profession. Their primary responsibility is to manage the personal health, safety and welfare of the people living in the home. You
must also provide training, supervision and structure to individuals as they carry out their daily activities and routines. You would be responsible for administering /
supervising medication, train, supervise and assist individuals in personal care areas, participate / supervise in cleaning, cooking and life skills. You must communicate
effectively with supervisors, co-workers and the individuals living in the homes. This profession requires a significant amount of daily written documentation.
Required 
Skills 
Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working with people with developmental disabilities, or related field, preferred. Must have
non-probationary valid driver’s license and driving record in good standing. All prospective hires, including Subs and Volunteers, must successfully meet and complete job
requirements and background checks.
