Exciting opportunity to join a progressive campaign for New York City Council that is at the forefront of public policy, technology, and civic engagement. This is not your
average internship of copying, filing or field. You will join a team with experienced professionals where you will be able to participate in all aspects of a successful
campaign so that you gain the necessary skills to secure a job.

Duties will include:
• Community Outreach and Organizing
• Attending Local Meetings
• Voter and Donor Contact / Canvassing
• Public Policy Research
• Event Planning
• Authoring Campaign Materials
o Blogging
o Scripts
o Flyers
o Etc.
• Website Management
• Graphic Design and Photography
• Scheduling
• Social Media

Application Details:

This will be an unpaid Summer Internship and applicants should attempt to secure academic credit.

Interns must commit to working at least twenty hours a week during summer break, with preference along with more challenging assignments and responsibilities offered
to applicants who work more hours per week.
