Title  Branch Manager II
Description  Branch Manager II (VP) - Phillipsburg, NJ Branch

•Manages a $70m branch or multiple branch offices.
•Responsible for staffing and customer service.
•Represents the financial institution to the community through good customer relations.
•Helps the regional offices to attain internal performance objectives for branch office business volume, deposits, loan portfolios and quality of audit reports.
•Consumer loan administration (clear documentation exceptions and follow past dues).
•Participates in and encourages lending activities directly and works with both commercial lender and mortgage lender for referrals, business development and community
involvement.
•Performs Personal Banking Officer (PBO) functions as necessary.
•Opens and closes the branch; maintains and stays abreast of security policies and procedures.
•Maintains knowledge of branch policies and procedures with respect to approving checks and overrides.
•Handles customer problems and complaints; counsels customers with special needs or requests.
•Participates in activities for generating new business such as sales calls and special events.
•Ensures financial institution compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act and Equal Employment Opportunity regulations and proper branch signage.
•Provides and maintains a professional business-like atmosphere within the branch office.
•Reviews staff members for formal performance evaluations and recommends salary adjustments. Counsels employees when needed. Coordinates staff training when
needed.
•Tests branch security equipment and investigates security issues when needed.
•Responsible for Branch performance including number of new accounts and deposit growth dollars while keeping within profitability goals.
•Other duties as assigned, including but not limited to, taking loan applications and maintaining registration under SAFE Act.
•Responsible for complying with the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering and OFAC policies and procedures.

Education & Experience

Years of Experience: Minimum of 10 years of branch management experience. 15+ years in banking industry with a demonstrated history of community relations and Board
involvement.
Branch Size: $70 million (or prior experience with or expectation thereof).

Experience:
•High school diploma required.
•Superior customer service skills.
•Ability to multi-task with excellent attention to detail and produce results.
•Good management and human resources skills.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Educated in banking regulations and laws.
•High level of integrity.
•Creative/innovative problem solver.
•Ability to use Windows based office products, email and core banking system, OSI experience preferred
