Title  Loan Administrative Assistant-TCB Branches in New
Description  Loan Administrative Assistant – State of New Jersey

•Support Regional President and Commercial Lenders with daily customer requests for financing, acct. transactions, problem resolutions and follow-up.
•Will work at the West Orange branch a minimum of one (1) day each week.
•Coordinate with Retail Branch for new account openings, wires, and loan funding.
•Obtains information related to the loan origination process including: ordering credit reports, appraisals, preliminary title reports, UCC searches, environmental reports,
insurance information, flood certificates, Secretary of State filings, Risk ID, CIP/OFAC and closing instructions.
•Request new loan documents from central loan documentation department.
•Review and process documentation prior to and after all loan settlements for accuracy and loan booking. Correct all errors & exceptions found after settlements.
•Assists RPs/CLs in the preparation of disbursement worksheets, prefunding packages, loan documentation checklists and other communications necessary to properly
document the credit files.
•Update LOA’s Rate Modifications, Extensions.
•Process commercial loan documentation including renewals, modifications, extensions, commitment letters and term sheets.
•Supports Regional President and commercial lenders with delinquency calls and clearing loan exceptions.
•Completes clerical tasks such as filing, preparing expense reports, management reports, photocopying, faxing, scanning documents and order, organizing and maintaining
supplies.
•Maintain updated customer credit files for outside audit review.
•Request and maintain financial and insurance information as required.
•Perform Notary services for the lending unit.
•Assist customers with their transaction requests, questions and problems and making initial contact to customers with overdue payments.
•Keep staff up-to-date on all procedural and operational practices and/or changes.
•Request and organize all maintenance calls/equipment repair and service for the department.
•Responsible for complying with the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering and CIP/OFAC policies and procedures. Complete on-line training as required.
•Handling confidential or sensitive documents relating to internal banking matters or outside customer matters.
•Create/Maintain customer contact lists for Promo’s/Correspondence mailings.
•Other duties as assigned.

Required 
Skills 
•Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field and/or a minimum of three years equivalent experience in a commercial lending support role.
•Commercial credit training with a prior employer is a plus.
•Knowledge of general banking policies/procedures.
•Effective oral and written communication skills.
•Ability to effectively work with colleagues and on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within
established timeframes.
•Fluency in Microsoft Office programs: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
