Title  Inside Sales Representative, Data Protection

Description  The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) has an overall responsibility for sales, customer satisfaction, and maintaining relationships with our channel partners. This person will
develop and implement a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Syncsort’s opportunities for Data Protection sales. The ISR will focus on four main areas of responsibility:

I. Manage existing account base with the purpose to identify new business opportunities, sell training and professional services, ensure overall satisfaction with our
products and follow up on maintenance renewals together with the local renewal team

II. Prospect and identify new business opportunities in the assigned region

III. Support outside sales personnel for their region by preparing quotes, network diagrams, completing deal registrations and other activities critical to the success of the
outside sales representative

IV. Assist channel partners – majority of transactions are conducted via 3rd party storage resellers. The ISR must assist existing channel partners to close opportunities.
This includes developing quotes, network diagrams, training and other areas critical to the success of a channel partner.

This is a challenging and highly-visible role. The ISR must be extremely results driven, customer focused, technologically savvy, and skilled at building internal relationships
and external partnerships.
Required 
Skills 
- Strong educational background.
- Bachelor of Science (Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline preferred).
- Strong maturity and image.
- 0 – 4 years of business experience, as recent college graduates will be considered.
- Documented leadership capabilities (Ex. Captain of sport, Academic achievement awards, etc.).
- Advanced MS Windows Office skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
- Excellent judgment skills with a positive attitude and strong enthusiasm.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as effective interpersonal abilities.
