Title  Horsemanship Instructors

Description  Cayuga's Equestrian Program is headed-up by our Horsemanship Director who is assisted by a team of horsemanship instructors, who are expected to: 1) Provide top
quality instruction to campers of all ages from beginner to advanced skill levels. 2) Have experience teaching horseback riding to children. 3) Maintain the high-level
standards of safety set forth by the camp. 4) Care for the horses and petting zoo animals. This includes feeding, watering, grooming, etc. 4) Maintain cleanliness of the
barn. This includes sweeping, raking, and mucking-out. 5) Care for the tack and equipment. Camp Cayuga is also seeking to hire individuals to assume staff positions for
waterfront (lifeguards, WSI, small-craft), trapeze & circus, ropes course, paintball, and medical assistants, among others.
Required 
Skills 
Staff applicants must have completed one (1) year of college and/or must be at least 19 years of age. In addition to the expectations enumerated above, the staff member
must truly enjoy living and working with kids on a 24-hour basis. All instructors assume cabin counselor supervisory responsibilities. We're seeking individuals with high
moral character, who have exhibited good sportsmanship, the ability to work hard, honesty and loyalty. Successful staff members have an outgoing personality, a good
sense of humor, strong teaching skills, good leadership ability, and experience in supervising and instructing children. Accept these challenges, gain valuable lifetime

laundry service is provided by the camp. Staff tipping is also permitted.
