Title  Chair of Equestrian Studies
Description  SCAD is the first art and design university in the United States to offer a comprehensive intercollegiate athletics program and one of the first to offer one in equestrian
studies. Join our one-of-a-kind equestrian department as full-time chair. SCAD offers a B.A. degree in equestrian studies as well as an equestrian studies minor.

The university fields a championship equestrian team that has earned 33 individual and team titles, including 10 American National Riding Commission championships and
six individual Intercollegiate Horse Show Association championships during the past seven years. Students have the opportunity to study, train and ride at the Ronald C.
Waranch Equestrian Center, a 100-acre, state-of-the-art facility with paddocks, competition arenas and stables for the university's and student riders' horses.

- experience teaching at the collegiate level with the ability to conduct practical and theoretical courses in riding, training, course design, barn management and equestrian
event management
- ability to develop and implement college curriculum, promote the university and program, recruit students, and procure donation horses
- master's degree and/or equivalent experience preferred along with documented licensing, awards and achievements.
