If you are passionate about building a career in payroll and further developing your skills in a positive and fast-paced work environment, consider Ambrose Employer Group.â Responsibilities: - Process regular and off-cycle payrolls for all pay frequencies (Bi-Weekly, Mid-Monthly, Month-End, Semi-Monthly) - Adjustments of tax discrepancies such as FICA, work state withholding, supplemental withholdings, etc. - Process payroll reversal to adjust YTD employeeâs wages - Assists on improving the departments accuracy, efficiency, and productivity - Process all payroll-related tasks and changes such as supplemental pay, salary changes, 401K changes, benefit changes due to QLE and NQLE events, and mass work location transfer - Maintain and submit Federal and State withholding certificate - Review and adjust New Hiresâ benefit setup (LTD, STD, and Life) - Handle unemployment insurance (UI) claim and filing - Provide any additional payroll-related support to the HR dept as well as clients - Run comprehensive mock payrolls for clients on a daily basis - Manage individual and client termination requests - Supports internal employees with the basic knowledge of Ambroseâs payroll practices - Other duties as assigned |

The following qualifications and skills are required: - Bachelorâs degree in business administration or related area - High degree of accuracy and ability to make logical decisions - Strong communication, organizational and time management skills - Proficiency working in both team and individual project environments - Knowledge of Lawson HRIS preferred - Fundamental Payroll Certification, American Payroll Association Preferred |
