Position Information

Title  Training Coordinator
Description  Large, volume retailer seeks applicants for the position of Training Coordinator, responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing/hiring, orientation and administering and
overseeing the training of all associates in conjunction with the store management team.

This individual is responsible for facilitating and managing a performance measurement system and monitoring the ongoing training and development of existing
associates as well as implementing human resource strategies to assure a high level of associate commitment and job satisfaction.
Preferred applicants will be college graduates with training in human resource management, along with applicable retail experience, preferably in a union environment.

Must have command of the English language, be a polished public speaker to conduct positive, interactive and engaging orientation sessions, project a professional image,
promote the benefits of teamwork, have keen organizational skills with specific attention to detail and be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.

Previous experience and knowledge of retail store operations and the essential job functions of all positions in the store is preferred. A successful applicant will act with a
sense of urgency, be able to work under pressure and comply with ShopRite’s four service priorities.
