| Description | In response of Hurricane Sandy, O'Brien's Response Management is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates that are interested in temporary relief work in New Jersey. Duties: Primary job duties of the position are as follows: • Ensure that only eligible storm debris is removed, loaded, and hauled; • Interface with contractors and crew in the field and report to the Field Supervisor; • Record information on each load ticket (Monitor may also be trained and expected to operate an automated handheld device to record information); • Ensure that debris loads are properly contained in the loading container; • Monitor contractor safety and report potential issues to the Field Supervisor; • Record and report any damage resulting from debris removal operations. The following are minimum required skills: • Effective written and oral communication; • Ability to learn and follow instructions; • Ability to work independently to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision Qualifications: • Must be at least 18 years of age; • Must have high school diploma, GED, or equivalent; Must have the ability to work in the outside elements for long periods of time; (this may include standing outside for the duration of daily debris removal (rain or shine); • Must have a flexible schedule, OVERTIME available • Must be able to travel to various work locations within the recovery area; • Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving history; • Must have your own working vehicle and cell phone; • Must pass back ground check and random drug screening; • Provide proof of citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. Email for more information to gsjobs@obriensrm.com Or call 504-264-4950 |
