| Description | Field Station: Dinosaurs Internship Program provides valuable on-the-job learning opportunities for students eager to gain professional work experience. The Field Station offers internships in education, facilities and grounds management, marketing, operations, retail management, and tourism/hospitality. Four students will be selected each semester to participate in a 12- to 14-week long, part-time (24 hours per week) internship program. Each intern, with their supervisor, develops a list of learning objectives and goals that they would like to achieve during their internship. In addition to learning the daily operations of the exhibition/attraction business, interns will be assigned a specific project to be completed during their time at the Field Station. Interns maintain a working portfolio, attend required intern events and weekly meetings, and participate in final evaluations. |
