Title  Implementation Consultant
Salary  $34,000 - $35,000
Description  Implementation Consultants Job Description

Role Description:

• On-site training on EMR solution for physician offices
• The Consultant must be capable of assessing client situations and providing insight and recommendations to the client about their business operation.
• This position is responsible for
a) Communicating the implementation plan to the Client
b) Provide operational instruction and
c) Consulting services necessary to optimize the Client’s use of the Pro EMR/PM products.
• The ultimate measurement of the performance is based on
a) Implementation Consultant can plan and deliver end-user application training effectively
b) Highest Client’s satisfaction.

Responsibilities Include:

• Configure EHR/EMR based on skills, experience level and site complexity, as determined by management.
• EMR application’s functional testing and setup based on client requirement.
• Gather additional information as needed to develop insights and recommendations about the clients' business operation, opportunities and efficiency.
• Conduct implementations following approved implementation procedures and guidelines.
• Manage assigned site projects using appropriate tools to ensure timely completion of tasks by the client and other departments. Escalate and initiate corrective actions as
• Conduct training and consultation for the client as part of the implementation.
• Provide recommendations to the client for integration of the information system into the client’s workflow and processes.
• Demonstrate client service and satisfaction as defined by department standards.
• Provide verbal and written communications in a concise, timely and appropriate manner following implementation procedures and guidelines.
• Utilize appropriate resources and methods in troubleshooting and investigating software and hardware problems.
• Effectively organize and prioritize administrative and client related tasks for timely completion.
• Travel to client sites and other related meetings.
• Review and monitor contract vs. actual needs working directly with Project Manager on matters such as licenses or implementation hours need to be purchased.
• Report all time on minimum of a weekly basis of the actual implementation hours.
• Provide timely Session Acknowledgments to client on daily or weekly basis (as directed by Project Manager).
• Provide a professional, upbeat, team atmosphere that allows all resources involved with the implementation to effectively work together as one group.


• Desired expertise in conducting product training
• Good knowledge of US Healthcare
• Knowledge of Provider processes: Registration / Scheduling / Billing / Charges / Lab tests and results / Patient charts / Transcription / Encounter notes /
Prescriptions – Desired
• BS or AS Degree in Business, Information Science, Computer Science Software, or other relevant combination of training and experience
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to listen and analyze end user needs
• Ability to evaluate technical options and make decisions
Ability to travel, Tech Savvy, Excellent oral and written communication skills.
