| Description | Earth Cam is currently seeking a Programmer/Developer to fill a position located at the corporate office in Hackensack, NJ. Duties and Responsibilities: o Collaborate with the software development and creative design teams to create efficient, imaginative and sophisticated solutions for front-end software feature requests. o Develop high-quality code following established development processes. o Provide informed, innovative recommendations regarding the use of JSP/HTML/CSS/PHP and Javascript to meet a variety of business needs. o Assess the technical feasibility of proposed functional designs. o Estimate the time needed to complete development phase of projects o Keep abreast of the latest developments in Internet technologies. o Gather requirements, design, code and test independently as well as work jointly with the team |
| Required Skills |
o BS in CS/CE or equivalent work experience o Prior experience with PHP on Linux, Apache, MySQL environments (LAMP) Strong web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery. ) Skills o Knowledge of PHP and Object Oriented Design, SQL o Skills working with version control systems such as SVN, CVS o Additional desired skills: JSON/XML; Smarty and Perl o Experience building applications with PHP5 and MySQL5 o Proficiency in working and developing on Linux o Must be a team player & a focused problem-solver |
